I have worked at places where internet usage was both allowed and not. When I left Sykes in "03, internet usage was frowned upon. I worked in the Quality Assurance department on the night shift, 11am to 8am. We were required to do 11 monitors a day. The rest of the time, they asked us to spend on "constructive activities." My good friend worked on that team with me and left at 5am. I had as much internet as I could stand, but only got on sparingly. Why, because there was a world of other things to do. Mainly, I would bring books to read. Pac Man, I think it's a hoot that PVHS wants to pay you to make over 200 posts on an internet forum in 7 days time. Just proves that you either have no imagination or no life of your own, even at work. </div></div>
